Showing our cherry tree some love

This week's gardening tasks included planting some more broad beans to replace the ones the squirrels dug up, this time netting the pots; finishing pruning the buddleia and the weigela and removing the dead ivy from the only cherry tree we have that produces cherries (we have two the other is used by pigeons to sleep and most probably eat cherries in!).

Hopefully the cherry tree will repay this act of kindness with a bountiful crop of cherries this summer.
