Packing up our entire house into two rooms...

...yeap, that's right. We need to sort through and pack up each of the rooms that are being decorated. It's a daunting task for anyone, well anyone with any stuff. The plan is to start next Sunday after our house guests have gone with the study. It may be the smallest room (well apart from those smallest rooms), but what it lacks in size it makes up in density. I know MOH will be saying his mantra of "chuck it out" and I'm more than happy for him to do that if he's comfortable with that. I know I'm not  comfortable with that and that's where the tension will start.

The top bedroom should be easy-ish to do, assuming we don't need to empty the wardrobe. Then it's the top landing. That's the one of the few places where we're planning to move the furniture to another floor. The other place is the spare bedroom, and the plan is to move things into there from downstairs and the conservatory, freeing up space to use the conservatory as storage.

We'll need to empty our wardrobes too at some point and move into the newly decorated top bedroom. But I think that's a bit further off and complicating the matter. The one I'm really not looking forward too is packing up the kitchen and our glasses. MOH's conservative estimate was there'd be at least 50 of these.  I suspect he's not far wrong!

But where to put everything. The dread is setting in. 8 July is D-Day. In our case Decorator's start day...
