Diving into Billy

Tonight it was the second instalment of Billy making. They are relatively easy and go up quickly and the larger of the two was going well. When, all of a sudden MOH slipped after trying to stand upright near the eaves wall and dove into the back of the Billy unit, pushing the backing panel back where it shouldn't be...

He was annoyed with himself so I didn't need to say anything...

One up; one to go...

Two up...

And the shelves...

They are looking good, but they still need to be cut over the skirting, straightened and fixed to the wall. A job for another night this week, we also have to get some curtain tracks for both rooms upstairs (and get the curtains cleaned!).

This should get us ready (with a bit more re-jigging of furniture in the top spare bedroom) for my parents visit this weekend.  Then when I have some time next week my plan is to spend some time making it look like a proper room again, well for a short while anyway before the study becomes temporary storage area while the middle floor is decorated.
