We've popped up to Norfolk for our first visit of the year and armed with our new National Trust membership we headed towards the Blickling Estate near Aylsham. It was our first time here, but definitely not our last.
Unusually our visit started with food, and not even cake but a really good hot sausage roll and a cheese scone which we shared!
There were plenty of daffodils:

The hedges were fantastic too, this is the view inside one of them!
A garden ornament with a difference:

And the strangely named Sitooterie part of the garden - the name is based on a Scottish word for something to "sit oot in" - don't believe me? It says so on the sign
