This week I'm back on flowers and these - I couldn't choose between them, so here's both - are from a trip to Devon last October.
Hydrangeas are great flowers and there are so many more varieties available now and many more than the blue or pink I remember as a child in the 70s! I think these are just beautiful.
They are at Coleton Fishacre which is one of the National Trust's Devon properties and was originally the country home of the D'Oyly Carte family. It's a beautiful place if you're ever down that way - see Photo-journal: Coleton Fishacre, Devon - and we found the hydrangeas as we headed down towards the coast.
I'm linking this post to Charly's Alphabet Photo Project over on PODCast - so pop over there and see what other people have chosen for their H!
