Word of the week: Colourful

We've spent this week in Cornwall and have had lovely weather (phew!) and there's a number of reasons I've chosen colourful as my word this week, rather than anything more typically Cornish...

The skies have been as blue as the blue above, not all the time but lots of the time.

The gardens we've visited have been green and lush and there's been lots of colour - reds, yellows, oranges, pinks, blues - from the exotic and more usual plants we've seen and photographed.

The apartment we've rented is bright and clean and is white with a lot of lime green. Thankfully I like lime green...

MOH bought some Aperol which we've taken to have as a spritzer each evening - it's an Italian aperitif which is a lovely orangey-red and MOH has likened to alcoholic Tizer... Hmmnn....

As well as the blue skies, the sun's been out which has left me a little red - yes despite making the most of the sun already this summer - but I'm hoping I'll turn a lovely shade of brown!

So that's why my word this week is colourful!
