#30Lists for March

It's March so it must be time for #30Lists again - it's my third time listing daily as part of the monthly challenge, and the third time I've taken a different approach. I've created my lists digitally in September 2014 and then on some gorgeous project life cards I bought in December 2014. But since then I've discovered a whole new world of project life goodies by simply Googling "free project life printables" - give it a go, you'll be amazed!

So this time I created my own mini cards. I used Lori Whitlock's Cherry edition and hadn't bargained on my printer which was low on toner - it's always seems to be low on toner when I want to use it! So instead of the vibrant reds, greens, purples and blues mine have their own look in blue and brown tones. They're not exactly as I'd thought they'd be, but there was a certain charm about them so I stuck with them (that and the fact that new toner was an order and a couple of days away!)

Then I stuck them onto card and cut around them to create my individual cards and as luck would have it I had a couple of blue cards along with some white card so the fronts and backs matched nicely. It's almost like it was planned...

I liked the shapes the card scraps made and shared the image on the right on Instagram at the time. Then it was just a case of waiting until March 1st.

The beginning of March was a bit busy here with preparations for the Red Nose Day Danceathon and despite my best intentions this month I fell seriously behind with the daily lists. I was close to putting this month's list down to experience but yesterday afternoon I spent an enjoyable hour or so getting up-to-date.

And I'm glad I did.

Some of the list prompts this time threw me - like Day 3: My Jams - well to me that was:

- but to others it was music! Oh dear, I'm really not down with the kidz am I? But I'm holding onto the advice that there is no wrong way to complete your lists!  And those jams I listed are all great!

Other favourite prompts include:

Day 5: Cures for the winter blues

  • A walk in Greenwich Park
  • An open fire and a cup of tea (or something stronger!)
  • Having a good old natter with friends
  • Booking a holiday

Day 13: Things I had to learn to love

  • Wine - yes really, but it was a long time ago!
  • Coffee - I'm getting there but it has to have sugar
  • Olives - they are an acquired taste and worth sticking with.
  • Walking for 25+km on holidays - it's much better than it sounds
  • Cycling up hills - this one's a work in progress, but I will get there!

Day 19: Favourite bands from my schooldays

  • Abba
  • Duran Duran
  • Japan
  • Blancmange
  • Tears for Fears
  • Wham!

And I still love 80s music...

Day 24: Fortunes I'd like to find in a fortune cookie

  • Pass Go and Collect £200
  • Do what you love, love what you do
  • Smile, suck your tummy in and go for it

And today's Day 25: House Rules

  • See the world
  • Everything has its place
  • Use kind words
  • Dream big
  • Eat what we grow
  • Shop local
  • Be proud of what we do
  • Try new things
  • Laugh out loud.

So that's my paper for this month. There's a few more days of lists to go and I expect to get through the month pretty much on time now, which a couple of days ago I wasn't sure if I would at all.  I still want to get my Pinterest board up-to-date but that's a task for another day.

What paper do you have in your life this month?
