My week this week: Lost

This week has been a funny week for me. It's been the kind of week where I've lost a day at one point and then gained one at another time, and the result is that I've really lost track of what day it actually is!

So this week lost is a great word to sum up my week!

So with all that confusion I really didn't know if I was coming or going so I've been feeling behind and haven't kept up on blog tasks or more general household tasks either.  But I hope to catch up with myself soon, and actually it'd be great if I could get ahead of myself too.

Last weekend we met up with friends whom we hadn't seen for a while and it turned into a big of a long one. I finally gave in and fell into bed gone five in the morning. The next day brought the realisation that my youth was long gone and the five am drinking sessions now are also lost to me - or at least they should be, if I had my sensible head on.

It's been good to see the sun though this week, hasn't it?

I've popped out of the office at lunchtimes to make the most of that and on one impromptu trip found myself captivated by the nature on show in the car park.  Yes I really do need to get out more...  I'd planned to find a bench, sit down and read my book but it didn't work out quite like that.  Realising that it wasn't going to happen the car park nature spotting was a good alternative!

And the final thing I've lost is a tad more annoying. I've lost a piece of paper - or I've misplaced it at least. I thought I knew where it was, but when I looked it wasn't where I thought. So it's been bugging me.  Every now and again I head off to search in another place, and it's still not turned up.  You can bet that as soon as I stop looking it'll just appear, but of course my brain won't turn off so that can happen.

It's not a massively important piece of paper, but I'm intrigued now as to where it could be!
