It's that time of year when poppies are rightly prevalent on lapels. And this year what with the Tower of London poppies I'm noticing a lot more poppies than usual already. I've popped up to visit the Tower Poppies three times now, once volunteering to plant poppies in the moat and twice just to see how they've "grown" and will be sharing photos and more from my visits soon.
First though I wanted to share this lovely felt poppy brooch by Rosiebull Designs. Gorgeous isn't it?
It's made from 100% wool felt, with hand sewn embellishments and black beads and has a brooch bar on the reverse to easily pin it to your lapel.
I will still make a donation to The British Legion's Poppy Appeal because for me, Remembrance isn't Remembrance without remembering those who have fallen and those who continue to serve our country today.
